This "zip-compressed" large Excel spreadsheet workbook contains four worksheets, with the contents of each shown below each worksheet heading:

2000 - 2004 Population Estimates - Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs)

This worksheet summarizes the gender (male and female), racial (34 categories), and ethnic (Hispanic/Non-Hispanic) detail for the total population estimate and the 6 cohorts (or age groups) which comprise the 60 and over population (ages 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, and 85 and over) for the 2000 - 2004 time series, including the 2000 census count, the post-census adjusted count, and the July 1st estimate for 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 for each AAA-PSA and the Commonwealth of Virginia.

This worksheet summarizes the gender (male and; female), racial (34 categories), and ethnic (Hispanic/Non-Hispanic) detail for the total population estimate and the 6 cohorts (or age groups) which comprise the 60 and over population (ages 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, and 85 and over) for the 2000 - 2004 time series, including the 2000 census count, the post-census adjusted count, and the July 1st estimate for 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 for all 134 independent cities and counties in the state and for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Cities and counties appear in alphabetic order within each annual data set, which appear chronologically, beginning with the 2000 Census count through the 2004 Census estimate series

2000 - 2004 60+ Population Estimates by PSA and Locality

A quick reference table for comparing 2000 census and census estimates and 2004 census estimates for the total 60 and over population by AAA-PSA and the component counties and cities of each AAA-PSA.
