Listed below are the curriculum, PowerPoint presentation, and Participant Handouts for the program entitled, “Recognizing Adverse Drug Events," (ADE). It was developed under contract for the Virginia Department of Social Services (DSS) by The Center for Gerontology at Virginia Tech.

DSS uses these materials to train staff in assisted living and adult day care centers, but the program could also be useful in training older adults at congregate meal settings, senior centers, and recreation sites. DSS has offered the attached materials to VDA for use with the AAAs and other contractors. The Virginia Tech staff that developed the curriculum may also be willing to offer training on the material to interested parties.
