2000 Census Detailed Demographics (.exe) (01/08/2002)

This compressed file contains 2 files - the "2000 Detailed Census Data Description.pdf" and the "Revised Race-Hispanic Detail by Sex (All Ages) by Locality.xls". The first ".pdf" file contains a description of the data source and methodology associated with producing the second ".xls" data file. See User Notes #1 and #2 in Notes on Downloadable Files & Maps for more information. These files contain the following types of data:

Geographic Detail: All 135 Cities & Counties, with AAA-PSA code for regional aggregation by user.

Racial Detail: Total Population, White Non-Hispanic Population, Total Minority Population, White Hispanic Population, Black Non-Hispanic Population, Asian Non-Hispanic Population, Other Minority Population (Balance less than 5% of Total).

Gender Detail: Males, Females, Total Population.

Age Detail: Single year ages (from <1 to 99), 5 Year Age Groups (0-4, 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84,85-89, 90-94,95-99,100-104, 105-109, 110 and Over),60 and Over, 65 and Over, 85 and Over, Baby-Boomer Population (Ages 36-54), Ratio of Baby Boomers to 60 & Over Population.
