Home Care Services

Home Care Image All types of home care services may not be available in every community. In Virginia, many different organizations provide home care. Most of them are listed in the Yellow Pages under entries such as "Home Health", "Hospitals" or "Nurses".

Your local Health Department, Department of Social Services, and your local Area Agency on Aging (AAA) may provide home care, or they can help you locate home care providers in your community.

Many of the 25 local Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) in Virginia have care coordination programs, in which a care coordinator can arrange needed home services for older persons (60 or older) who are frail, disabled or at risk of institutionalization. Find your local AAA by using a map of Virginia.

You can also contact us for more information or assistance.
